The "Alabama Rig" or "Umbrella Rig" is the newest, hottest thing on the market. You should know Missouri law allows no more than 3 hooks on this bait, even though most of them come rigged for 5. Most commonly, anglers have been cutting 2 of the hooks off or replacing 2 of them with a blade (willow leaf, Colorado, Indiana). New for the 2012 Season we are doing a "Winner-Take-All" for the May 23rd tournament. This is different then previous years, as the Winner-Take-All is usually the last tournament of the year. Remember, this tournament doesn't count towards the Angler of the Year points race.
Also new for 2012, the last tournament of the year on October 17th will be a "Big Bass" format. We will be paying 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the 3 biggest fish weighed in. The prize money will be determined by how many total boats fish. One fish per boat. Again, this tournament doesn't count for the Angler of the Year points race.
